"Country Life" Digital Edition; James Truscott's Article on the Lutyens/Jekyll Gardens of Greywalls

Country Life has finally published James’ Truscott’s article on the gardens of Greywalls in East Lothian in digital format. Since post-war times Greywalls has been run as a country house hotel and is located immediately adjacent to the famous Muirfield Golf Course.The house was originally designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, with the garden a collaboration with Gertrude Jekyll; the only one of its kind in Scotland. On a recent visit to Colonsay House Gardens on the Isle of Colonsay in Scotland, a chance meeting with Liza Weisstuch, a Journalist from The Washington Post, led to this mention in the subsequent article on her travels in the Inner Hebrides and includes a reference to James Truscott’s book, Private Gardens of Scotland.
